Journal Databases explained

We buy databases from several companies, but we get our largest databases from a company named ProQuest.  This company receives literally thousands of journals and magazines.  They create a Web page for each article, listing the title, the author, the issue of the journal where the article was published, its major subjects, etc. 

Sometimes they also put the full text of the article (that is, all the words of the article) on the page.

Click on the green button below to see what a page for one article from a ProQuest database looks like.  When you're finished looking at the article, click on the green arrow at the bottom of its page.
