The World Wide Web contains a wealth of information.
Some of the Web sites are of high quality; many of them are of low quality. This module will
provide some tips on how to search the Web and how to evaluate the sites
you find.
If you need
help in understanding any of the information in this module, the Reference
Librarians would be glad to give you some individual instruction!

The Research Tools (by
Subject) on the LCSC Library website is an example of a
Subject Directory. These pages are maintained by the Reference Librarians.
We add websites when they receive great reviews from reputable sources.
Visit our Research
Tools (by Subject) (also available from the LCSC Library Website) to see
which sites they've selected in your subject area of interest!
-
Test your knowledge of searching the Web.
The quiz is available in the
