TOPIC –          Finding Web Sites

GOALS –        Show students the basic of Web searching for college research

OBJECTIVES --  After performing the module’s activity, students will be able to:

  • Identify some types of information on the Web that can be useful in writing college papers
  • Distinguish between a Subject Directory and a Search Engine
  • Select a Subject Directory or a Search Engine to find Web sites
  • Develop search statements
  • Begin to evaluate the results
