Citation Styles

There are many different styles for citing sources.  The style you use will tell you which order to list the author, title, etc., as well as which punctuation to use.

The 2 styles used most often at LCSC are:

  • MLA (from the Modern Language Association), and

  • APA (from the American Psychological Association).

BE PREPARED:  It takes some time and practice to learn any new style.
