The Consequences
Many courses include some statement like this in the syllabus: "Academic dishonesty in the form of plagiarism or cheating on exams will result in failure of the course." Faculty retain the right to decide how to punish students who use plagiarism in their coursework. In addition, the College may add additional punishments for plagiarism or other kinds of academic dishonesty.
