Government Documents

The Federal Government is one of the largest publishers in the world.  They publish reports, statistics, advice to consumers, transcripts of hearings and meetings, and much more.  State and local governments also publish useful research materials.  Some of these government publications come out on a regular basis, for example annually, and some are published on a one-time basis.

The Library Catalog contains information about only the documents that we receive, either in print or in online subscriptions.  However, many more Federal documents are published on the World Wide Web.  The Reference Librarians can help you find them.
