When you write papers, you will need to cite your sources, that is, you will need to explain where you got your information.  The two citation styles used most often at LCSC are MLA and APA.  This module covers the details of citing sources with APA style.  Module 2D covers MLA style.

2. If you need a quick look at examples, here is a page created by the Writers' Workshop at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  For questions concerning a particular source that you want to cite, ask the Reference Librarians for help.

    3.   Test your knowledge of using the APA Citation Style to cite sources.
