American Chemical Society Publications --  This is the website for all of the ACS sponsored publications.

NSF REU Programs and Internships -- This page lists all of the NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates site locations.

MIT's Orbital Simulator -- This page has an excellent program that helps to visualize atomic orbitals.

ACS EpIC Summer Internship Resources -- This site has an excellent list of summer co-ops and internships.

Lanthanides and Actinides -- A great site that explains the nature of the f-elements.

                                                                      Research

Currently, several students are conducting their senior research projects under Matt's direction.  The topics are varied

and include synthetic, pedagogical, and calculation-based research goals.

Current Areas of Research

Towards Gold(I)-Based Antimicrobial Agents

Integration of Pyrotechnic Devices into General Chemistry

Effect of Hydration Upon Lithium Color Agents in Pyrotechnic Devices
