The Division of Movement and Sport Sciences offers a wide range of excellent baccalaureate degree programs in the field of Kinesiology. Our Kinesiology major has four areas of specialization: 1) Exercise Science/Health Occupations, 2) Health and Fitness, 3) Sport Studies, and 4) Coaching. You choose the specialization you wish to pursue. In addition, we offer four majors that combine kinesiology courses with coursework in a second focus area. Our co-curricular majors include: Sport Administration (with business courses), Exercise Science (with natural science courses), Sport Media Studies (with communications courses), and Secondary Education: PE/Health (with teacher education courses).
All of our programs prepare students with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful professionals in their field when they graduate, whether they decide to enter the workforce or seek further training in graduate school.
