Volunteer!
|
Volunteering can be a great addition to a resume
and it can also be personally fulfilling and
fun! The Center for Arts & History is in the
heart of downtown Lewiston, offering a close
walk to coffee, restaurants, local shops, and
the soon-to-be-relocated Lewiston Library!
We
could not provide the services we do without the
commitment and generosity of our Center Circle
Volunteers! Whether lending a hand at events and
openings or providing assistance to visitors of
the gallery, our volunteers are very important
and appreciated! Volunteers can choose tasks and
level of commitment.
Below are some of the ways you can be involved:
|
Event
Support
If you are a go-getter with a big
personality, friendly attitude and team
spirit, then you want to volunteer with
some or all of our many events!
From larger events like the Confluence
Grape & Grain and Dinner in the Garden,
to lectures and exhibition openings, the
opportunity to be in the middle of the
action is here! Be the first to hear
about our events, because you'll be
involved! |
Gallery Attendant
Are
you seeking a low impact volunteer
experience? Do you have an interest in
art and a social nature? If this sounds
like you, then you are exactly what we
are looking for in a gallery attendant.
Gallery attendants work during our
regular gallery hours, Tuesday through
Saturdays between 11am and 4pm. Even if
you can only work a couple of hours a
week or month, we'd love to work with
you! Our volunteer office is easily
accessible and has internet and
telephone access. CAH also has a kitchen
with full refrigerator, sink,
microwave, and convection oven. |
