Career Assessment Instructions Registration and Login Instructions


Go to Kuder Journey at                                               

Select "New Users" from the Log In Area to begin the registration process.

Select "Student" and choose your grade level from the drop down menu (for major and career exploration).
Or, select "Adult" and choose your user type from the drop down menu (for job search assistance).

Click "Continue" to create your account.

During the process, you will need to create a unique user name and password. 

You will be asked to enter your "Activation Code", provided by Career & Advising Services.

Please contact our office at 208-792-2313 to purchase an activation code if you do not already have one. 

Be sure to check the box next to “I have read and agree to the terms and conditions of use” after reading this information.

Click Register to complete the process.

Taking the Assessments

The first step in the educational and career planning process is learning about yourself.

      • Click on "Assessments" from the top navigation menu

      • Choose "Take an Assessment"

Take the following assessments:

     1) Career Interests Assessment      2) Skills Confidence – Adults      3) Work Values Assessment

Once you complete the assessments, view your assessment results (tab on the left hand side of your screen).

What’s Next?

Begin using your results and the other available tools from the top navigation menu to support your interest in your chosen major and career exploration project. Discover essential information such as job growth, salary scales, and where the highest demand is for professionals in this field. If your results do not uncover a career you are interested in, talk to your advisor about other options.  

Journey Home Page

Once you have created your account, you will be directed to your Journey home page. To access the system’s tools and resources, select a tab from the top navigation menu. Your home page provides a link to your messages, to-do list, recommended links, and account information where you can update you profile, upload a photo, and change your grade level each year or your user type/background information.
