Step 1 - Advising

All freshman will be advised at STAR and registered for their first semesters classes. For some academic students, moving to an advisor in the division of their major can happen in the first term once MyTrek is completed.

Step 2 - Career Exploration

Career exploration can help clarify or solidify your major and possible career choices. There are three different exploration activities from which you may choose. You may want to do more than one assessment option!

Step 3 - Student Planning

Student Planning is the tool students use to map out all of the courses you will need to complete your degree and register for these planned courses. Student Planning helps keep you on tract to graduate in a timely fashion.

Final Step - Exit Interview

The final step of MyTrek is an exit interview with your CAS advisor.This interview is where you can show the research into your possible career choices you've done as well as the opportunity to review all of your planned coursework.
