Job Descriptions

Ushers

1.       Check-in at the Volunteer Booth at the beginning of the assigned shift. The usher manager is Jim Mahan; he will train you and be available throughout the Series.

2.       Ushers are involved in numerous tasks and no two days are alike. It is important to be friendly and cordial with good customer service skills as ushers are asked many questions. Keep in mind this is the first World Series for a number of people.

3.       Ushers will keep walkways clear and be helpful to ticket holders in finding their seats.

4.       Ushers will notify appropriate personnel of any unusual circumstances that may need communication or intervention by other World Series staff.

5.       The usher will keep it clear under the bleachers.

6.       Ushers may be asked to help with evacuation of the ball park should an emergency arise.

7.       Daily Will Call will be in the Main Reserved Seating Ticket Booth on the SE side of the ACC.
