LEWISTON, Idaho -
Concordia (Calif.) outfielder Matt

awards after helping the Eagles capture
the program's first national baseball
title in the 55th annual Avista-NAIA
World Series at Harris Field on Friday.
Ivanoff, a senior from Mission
Viejo, Calif., was named the Series Most
Valuable Player and also won the Charles
Berry Hustle Award for his effort during
the Series. He also was one of 16
players chosen to the All-Tournament
Team.

leadoff hitter went 10-of-24 at the

triples, scored seven runs and drove in
eight.
"I can't even comprehend
this right now," Ivanoff said during

baseball and I just wanted to give it my
all."
