LCSC BA/BS Medical Diagnostic Imaging (MDI)

Thank you for your interest in the Bachelor of Arts (BA) and/or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Medical Diagnostic Imaging (MDI) Program at Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC).
In this new program, admitted students complete upper division lecture, laboratory and clinical classes in Computed Tomography (CT) and/or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The part time option allows students to continue to work while enrolled in this program.
Lecture classes meet two (2) three day weekends each semester. The remainder of each class is completed in an online format. Clinical experience is generally gained through the student's home employment site.
Students enrolled in the MRI Program will be eligible upon program completion to take the American Registry of Magnetic Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) exam in lieu of the ARRT (MR) exam if they so desired.
Individuals who already posses ARRT (CT), ARRT (MR) and/or ARMRIT certification will receive credit for successful completion of this exam as long as they remain registered in the respective modality for the duration of their enrollment in the program.
Links to the curriculum plan and admission requirements and process are on the left menu. If you have questions, please contact either MDI faculty member.
