Applicants will be notified by the official LCSC email system (LCMail) of their BSN program admission status and sent a reply form.
Applicants provisionally admitted to the program and those on the Alternate List must return a Reply Form indicating their intention to attend. If not received by the deadline noted on the Reply Form, the applicant’s name will be removed from the admission list. Admission is finalized once the Reply Form has been returned and all admission requirements are met. Final semester grades will be evaluated to ensure applicant continues to meet admission criteria and health care requirements.
Provisionally admitted students AND those on the Alternate List are required to attend an orientation session at the Lewiston campus prior to entry. Orientation information will be provided with the reply form.
Students must meet all final program requirements by the dates specified in the “Letter of Provision Acceptance”.
Those students who continue to be qualified for admission by meeting all admission criteria will then be fully admitted.
Important Notes to Applicants
Check your LCMail frequently during the admission process. Admission decisions and other important messages are communicated to you through this means.
Incomplete applications or applications received outside the application windows will not be considered for admission.
Notification of admission status is typically made 4-5 weeks after the application deadline.
Disqualifications of Provisional Admission
Students who do not acknowledge that they accept or deny a full or provisional admission invitation for a seat in the program will be disqualified.
Students who do not reply to the invitation by the designated date forfeit their seat.
Students accepted into the program who do not comply with all deadlines and due dates for admission requirements, including immunization reporting, CPR certification, background checks, and CNA requirements will forfeit their seat in the program.
Students who do not meet final deadlines for all requirements will forfeit their seat in the program.
Failure to meet minimum grade and program requirements for all ”In-progress” courses will result in forfeiture of provisional admission status.
