Screening Criteria for Admission BSN Basic Track

Admission is based on GPA, entrance testing, and patterns of grades earned in prerequisite coursework. The strongest candidates for our program are those who complete courses on the first attempt with better than average grades.

  • Students who have repeated one course, one time due to low grades may apply unencumbered. Students who have repeated two courses or one course multiple times must include a petition and letter of explanation with their application. This applies to Biol 250, Biol 252, Biol 253, Biol 312, Chem 105, and Psyc 300.Internal Student Petition Form
