Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between SD107 and SD307?
SD107 is for new students who have never taken a college credit (this does not include dual credit/tech prep credits). SD307 is designed for transfer students who already have at least 14 college credits.

Is there a fee for orientation?
Students who do not register for SD107/307 are required to pay a $25 fee on the day of orientation. Students enrolled in the one credit course will have the fee included in the bill for tuition/fees.

Can I bring my family to orientation?
Yes! Family and friends are encouraged to attend orientation with you. Please be sure to include them in the final count when you are registering for the program.

What if I can't stay for the entire program? Will it jeopardize my SD107/307 credit?
All students are required to attend the entire program. However, if there are extenuating circumstances, requests for exceptions will need to be made to the Vice President for Student Affairs.
