May I still earn credit for SD 107 by participating in the on-line orientation program?


Yes, students who go through the on-line orientation program may still earn credit for SD 107, the orientation class, ASSUMING THAT PRIOR APPROVAL FROM THE OFFICE OF THE DEAN OF STUDENT SERVICES HAS BEEN GIVEN.  See below for contact information.

What do I need to do to earn credit for SD 107
if I take the on-line orientation?

1)  Review the four modules and complete each short quiz included in the on-line orientation web site.

2)  Complete the “Orientation Final Review.”  You will need a password to access this review.  See below for information about obtaining a password.

3)  Print 2 copies of the final review – one for your records and one to be submitted with other orientation materials.

4)  Download and print a copy of the “SD 107/307 Study Plan”

5)  Work with your academic advisor to complete the “SD 107/307 Study Plan” and answer the questions at the bottom of the form.  You and your academic advisor should sign this form.

6)  Submit a copy of the completed “Orientation Final Review” and the completed “SD 107/307 Study Plan” to the Office of New Student Recruitment, RCH 114.


How do I obtain approval from the Office of the Dean of Student Services to substitute the on-line orientation?

Contact Lola Bartholomew at 792-2218 to request a password for the “Orientation Final Review.”
