What time does Orofino Kids' College begin?Girls Getting Archery Instruction

Class begins each day at 8:00 a.m. and ends at noon.

Do students leave the grounds of Orofino High School?

Students may visit the outskirts of the Orofino High School grounds for one or more science classes. Additionally, bus trips may be arranged for some classes.

Do parents and students select classes?

In the past, Orofino Kids' College has offered a set curriculum with age appropriate offerings. In 2014, we will continue to build on this while offering a few choices for parents and students.

Are meals provided?

Healthy snacks are provided at 10:00 a.m. and are included in the registration cost.

Who can take Kids' College classes?

Classes are designed for students between the ages of 6 & 12.

How do I sign up?

Register online, over the phone or in person. Contact Orofino Kids' College for additional information.

Drop-off and pick-up procedures:

Please have your child to Orofino High School no earlier than 7:30 a.m. They will need to enter the school through the upper parking lot lobby doors and go directly to the cafeteria. On the first day children will need to be checked in by their parent(s). We also ask that you pick up your child by 12:30 p.m. each day. Contact information for Amber Hanes-Miller will be provided upon check-in for use in case of an emergency of special circumstances.

Will parents have the opportunity to hear more about what their kids learned during Kids' College?

Yes! Parent's Night is scheduled for Friday evening at 5:00 p.m. at the Orofino High School auditorium. The first 10 minutes will be an opportunity to socialize and check-in. Students are encouraged to invite whomever they would like, although we may not have enough of the kids great cookin' to share with more than two guests.

What if my child is unable to attend?

You may cancel registration for a full refund up to 1 week prior to Kids' College. After that a $10 administrative fee will be charged. If your child misses a day during the session, no cost adjustments will be made.

What if Orofino Kids' College is cancelled?

Should an unforeseen event cause Orofino Kids' College to be cancelled, you will be notified immediately and receive a full refund. Please note: refunds may take several weeks to process.

Who do I contact in the event of an emergency?

In the event of an emergency contact Amber Hanes-Miller. An emergency contact sheet will be provided at check-in on the first day. 

Will I get a reminder?

You will receive a confirmation by phone or email within one week prior to the Kids' College start date.
