Consultation

Students helping classmates or staff and faculty assisting students with personal difficulties are welcome to consult with counselors. Arrangements for consultation may be made by phone or in person (Reid Centennial Hall 111).
 

Referral

It is essential that care for student counseling concerns be complete and well coordinated. Student Counseling Center may, therefore, refer students to other campus and community service providers such as Student Health Services, Student Support Services, the Center for New Directions, Community Mental Health, or St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center, for additional assistance. SCC then coordinates services with the other providers to offer optimal care to the student. Communication between SCC and other providers occurs, however, only with the express written consent of the student.
