| Description | In light of LCSC’s implementation of a new advising model and the recent rollout of an update to Blackboard Learn, I would like to offer an orientation course to Student Services staff which will aid in serving students enrolled in Distance Learning courses. The primary purpose is to acquaint you with Blackboard Learn so you may help students with common issues in Blackboard such as logging in, changing passwords, accessing courses and tools, etc. We understand there are situations in which students have limited time to address their concerns and would prefer to avoid being shuffled to yet another office for support. I will demonstrate simple ways for you to assist with common student concerns.
Although organized for Student Services, this session is open to any campus support staff members (i.e. divisional advisors, admins) who work with students and would benefit from learning more about Blackboard Learn. |
