The motor pool area is responsible for maintenance, renting, and cleaning of over 25 vehicles and all motorized mobile equipment.  The motor pool provides vehicles for campus employees to utilize while on trips and provides vehicles for maintenance and grounds staff.

Motor pool rates are:

Car/Jeep/Minivan- $0.55 per mile includes gas + $10/day after the first day
15 Passenger Van- $0.60 includes gas + $15/day after the first day
Enclosed Trailer- $20/day

The motor pool has 3 cars, 2 minivans, 1 Jeep, and 4 (15) passenger vans available for rent.  No special license endorsement is required to drive the 15 passenger van, however you must complete a test which you can take at the Physical Plant or pick-up a CD in Administrative Services.  To reserve a vehicle please call the Physical Plant at x2247 and complete an IDV obtained through the Controller's Office before picking up the vehicle.
