Communications changeover is being scheduled.
It is anticipated that the fiber installation will take approximately seven
working days. Christmas break is
preferred. Jerry Hindberg will follow-up
with the Faculty Senate, division chairs and DATEC. LCSC has also requested more IP addresses.
Student Affairs:

Athletic
Department: LCSC will host the Frontier
Conference Volleyball Tournament on November 20-22.
Institutional
Planning, Research and Assessment: Title
IX Equity in Athletics report for 2002-2003 has been submitted. Even with the elimination of Rodeo, LC was
within the 1% target of scholarship to participation.
College
Communications Coordinator: The student
newspaper, Pathfinder, published the
announcement that President Thomas does not intend to apply for the presidency

Faculty Senate:

ICHEF will
focus on planning for how to approach legislature.

The Budget
Liaison Committee will meet Tuesday. The
meeting will be a faculty working group focusing on salary distribution recommendations
for next year.

Sick Leave
policy: The Faculty Senate is discussing
more uniformity in divisions in application of the sick leave policy. Faculty must report sick leave.
