Professional-Technical Programs

  • Professional-Technical (PT) Programs are primarily one and two year programs through the Business Technology and Service Division or the Technical and Industrial Divison.
  • PT Programs are designed to prepare individuals for the workplace through formalized educational experiences.  Some students choose to continue their education past the two-year degrees to earn a bachelor degree in their selected field.
  • Individuals who pursue professional-technical education gain skills to go immediately into the workforce as workers or technicians in exciting, new, and recognized occupations.
  • People who are already in the workforce may take specialized classes through the Workforce Training Program  to further develop their skills and knowledge-base.
  • Adults transitioning into college and/or preparing for the GED participate in the Adult Learning Center programs and services
