CNA WRITTEN TESTING
Schedule and Payment Procedure
with
LCSC - Professional Technical
Education Center
A. PTEC schedules the CNA written
exams Monday through Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Please call in advance to schedule the
day best for you.
B. Go to the Controller's office
in the Administration Building to pay $21.00 to the
Cashier's Window in the hallway.
1. LCSC now charges a non-refundable
service fee of 2.5% for credit/debit card transactions.
C. Bring receipt of payment of the
$21.00, your Social Security Card, and a picture ID to PT
Education Center.
D. You will need a credit/debit
card to pay Prometric.
E. $29.00 for a regular exam or
$39.00 for the Oral exam, online when you register for the
CNA Written exam.
F. Students who have a voucher.
1. Call PT Education Center to schedule
for the CNA Written exam on the day of your choice: Monday
through Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
2. Bring a Picture ID and your Social
Security Card with you to PTEC.
G. Students paying with cash or
check.
1. You will need to purchase a pre-paid
credit card. These can be purchased at any grocery
store. You will also need to activate the card before
it can be used.
2. Call PT Education Center to schedule
for the CNA Written exam on the day of your choice: Monday
through Thursday at 1:30 p.m.
3. Bring a Picture ID and your Social
Security Card with you to PTEC.

www.prometric.com/nurseaide to take our
National interactive Nurse Aide Practice Exam.
Other Important Information
Your results will be electronically
delivered to Prometric within two business days and your
name will be added to Idaho's Nurse Aide Registry the next
business day. Your registry certificate will be mailed
to your address after your name is added to the registry.
If you have not received your certificate 3-weeks after your
testing date, please call Prometric Customer Service at
(888) 843-2341.
The procedure for skill testing
has not changed. PTEC will still need verification
from Workforce Training that you have passed the skills test
prior to taking the CNA written test.
You have 12 months after you
finish your Nurse Aid training to get your CNA
Certification. You get 3 tries within the 12 months to
pass the CNA Written exam.
