Professional-Technical Programs

Welcome to the Lewis-Clark State College Professional-Technical Programs web page.  I hope your visit to this site is to learn more about the educational and workplace offerings available to you. 

The mission of the Professional-Technical Programs is to offer professional and technical training through a formalized array of educational experiences that will prepare individuals for gainful employment as semi-skilled, skilled workers, or technicians in recognized and in new and emerging occupations.  It also prepares individuals for enrollment in advanced technical education programs.  To accomplish this mission, the Professional-Technical Programs offers 22 Associate of Applied Science Degrees, 16 Advanced Technical Certificates, and 22 Certificates in a wide array of career areas. 

Each of the program areas maintains and counsels with an that is formed from local and regional employers.  They advise faculty and administrators about changes in curriculum required to provide properly skilled employees.  They also take an active role by providing programs with student internships, industry tours, judges for student competitive events, and ultimately job placement.
