Clery Act

The Clery Act is a federal law that requires colleges and universities to disclose information about crime on and around their campuses. The act is named in memory of Jeanne Clery, a 19- year-old female freshman who attended Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and was assaulted and murdered in her residence hall room on April 5, 1986. This report is prepared in cooperation with local law enforcement agencies surrounding our main campus and alternate sites, Residence Life, Judicial Affairs in conjunction with Student Life and Athletic Department and other campus security authorities. Each entity provides updated information on their educational efforts and programs to comply with the Act. The Campus Security Department prepares this report to comply with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act.
