Student Counseling

  • Many students find it helpful to discuss personal and mental health concerns, as well as academic difficulties and career decisions, with a professional who takes the time to listen and understand. The Student Counseling Center (SCC) offers students the opportunity to explore personal concerns with a counselor dedicated to helping students help themselves in a supportive and confidential environment, utilizing a brief therapy model. The number of sessions varies depending on student need.
  • If the student seems at imminent risk to harm self or others call 9-1-1.
  • For other counseling emergencies:
  • Call the SCC office during business hours at 208-792-2211
  • After hours:

  • St. Joseph Regional Medical Center - 24 hour crisis counselor available - Crisis Intervention Services - (208) 791-6365
