Getting on a waitlist
-
After selecting your course(s) via “Register for Sections”,
look to see if the section you want is “closed” or
“waitlisted”.
-
If a waitlist already exists, you can check the number of
students on it in the “Available/Capacity/Waitlist” column.
-
You then need to indicate in the 'Action’ drop-down box that
you want to be placed on a waitlist.
-
The next screen will indicate that you are now waitlisted in
the section.
-
Being on a waitlist does NOT mean that you will
automatically be registered for the class when a seat
opens. It is your responsibility to register yourself for
the class.
Getting registered from a
waitlist
-
When a student drops from a waitlisted class, an e-mail (LCMail)
is sent to you if you are the first student on the
waitlist.
-
You then have approximately 2 days to register for the
class. The e-mail will note the exact time and day deadline
for which you must log into WarriorWeb and register.
-
If this deadline passes, the second student on the list will
be e-mailed and they will then have 2 days to register.
-
You can also track your waitlist status using the “Manage My
Waitlist” link on the WarriorWeb main menu.
-
An “Active” status indicates that you are still on the
list.
-
A “Permission to Register” status indicates that a
seat(s) has opened and you should now register yourself
for the class.
Suggestions and reminders
-
You can not place yourself on a waitlist for more than one
section of the same course.
-
You can not place yourself on a waitlist of a course for
which you have not completed the required pre-requisites.
-
Waitlisting is available until one week before the term
begins. Signed add slips are required after this deadline.
