Waitlisting

Getting on a waitlist

  1. After selecting your course(s) via “Register for Sections”, look to see if the section you want is “closed” or “waitlisted”.
  2. If a waitlist already exists, you can check the number of students on it in the “Available/Capacity/Waitlist” column.
  3. You then need to indicate in the 'Action’ drop-down box that you want to be placed on a waitlist.
  4. The next screen will indicate that you are now waitlisted in the section.
  5. Being on a waitlist does NOT mean that you will automatically be registered for the class when a seat opens.  It is your responsibility to register yourself for the class.

Getting registered from a waitlist

  1. When a student drops from a waitlisted class, an e-mail (LCMail) is sent to you if you are the first student on the waitlist.
  2. You then have approximately 2 days to register for the class.  The e-mail will note the exact time and day deadline for which you must log into WarriorWeb and register.
  3. If this deadline passes, the second student on the list will be e-mailed and they will then have 2 days to register.
  4. You can also track your waitlist status using the “Manage My Waitlist” link on the WarriorWeb main menu.
    1. An “Active” status indicates that you are still on the list.
    2. A “Permission to Register” status indicates that a seat(s) has opened and you should now register yourself for the class.

Suggestions and reminders

  1. You can not place yourself on a waitlist for more than one section of the same course.
  2. You can not place yourself on a waitlist of a course for which you have not completed the required pre-requisites.
  3. Waitlisting is available until one week before the term begins.  Signed add slips are required after this deadline.
