We are excited to have you live on campus! Students who live on campus are actively involved in clubs and intramural sports, attend the many social events sponsored by the Residence Life staff, and have a great base to form study groups. This fall, the average GPA of resience hall students was 2.89.
Although 4,500 students attend LCSC, there are only 312 students who live on campus - so students get to know each other well by the end of the first semester. Students have a choice of four residence halls; Clark, Talkington, Clearwater and Parrish. Clark and Talkington are traditional style halls with mostly double/triple rooms with restrooms down the hallway. Clearwater Hall is a suite-style hall with four-person suites that share a convenience kitchen, bathroom and living room. Clearwater is a lot like living in an apartment but without a stove. There are 29 upperclass students live in Parrish House, which features a full kitchen. It is the only building where students are not required to have a meal plan.
Residence Life offeres many activities during the school year, both on and off campus. Students pay a $25 Activity Fee and most of the on and off campus events are free. Ice skating, bowling, frozen yogurt, corn mazes, Scarywood, roller skating....are just some of the activities Residence Life organizes through the year.
