Howdy! My name is Demsie and I am in my sophomore year at LCSC. I am from Bliss, ID which is a very small town in southern Idaho. I am majoring in Biology.
I know this might sound strange, but I didn't want to go to some big college where I would be another number and become lost in a crowd of thousands. Here at LC I will have a class of maybe 30 and my professors will strive to know me. I recommend going to a lot of the activities and meeting new people. LC has a Warrior Entertainment Board (WEB) that brings in performers ranging from hypnotists and commedians to bands and slam poetry. Become friends with your Resident Assistant because they create events for your hall and they have experience with 'college life'.
Hi guys! My name is Megan! I'm a sophomore majoring in Social Work.
I couldn't have been happier with my choice of college. I am from Kennewick, WA. Lewiston is a much smaller city than what I am used to, but I've come to love this little city. On campus I love going to basketball and baseball games, hanging out at dinner and participating in school events. I really wanted to go to a smaller college, and LCSC is the perfect fit. It is small, but not too small.
Hi, I am Turner. I am from Weiser, ID and I am majoring in History and want to be an archivist after I graduate.
I chose LCSC because of the 'home' like feel. I am really active outdoors and like to go hiking and explore. Lewiston is a great place for that! I like living on campus because of the community that is formed and the friends that you make. Getting involved on campus is a great way to meet people - I am involved in intramurals, where I play volleyball and basketball with group of my friends against other LC students. The games are a blast and we have a lot of fun.
My name is Sara, I am from Boise, ID and went to Eagle High School. I am a Pre-Nursing major and hope to work as a Nurse in a Boise hospital after I graduate.
I like the size of Lewiston and how close it is to home. And the drive to campus is really pretty! I like to hunt, fish, and be outdoors. I really liked the campus when I got to visit during the summer and it is big enough that you are able to meet new people daily but small enough that you don't get lost.
Living on campus I have met so many people and I really like my roommates. I am in a triple (one of the few) and my roommates are awesome. We have a ton of fun all of the time and the people in my residence hall are fantastic.
