  Moving into the Residence Halls?

Please remember that space is limited and you will most likely be sharing a room and/or suite with others.  The items provided in each room are listed on the FAQ's page.  Also suggestions for items that are allowed and not allowed in the halls.  It is very important that you read the Handbook prior to arriving on campus so you are aware of any restrictions.

Before students can be assigned a room you must be accepted for admission at LCSC and you must have completed the housing contract and paid the housing deposit.

After you have completed the necessary paperwork, you will be sent a letter with information concerning your placement in the halls.  We also attempt to send you a list of possible roommates/suitemates so that you may contact them prior to arriving.

You may move into the halls on the date you are given on your assignment letter.  In the fall, we separate move-ins for new students and transfer students.  It is important to follow  the instructions given.  During the spring semester, most students will move in one day prior to the New Student Orientation.  Your campus meal plans will begin the following day.

Every new student should begin by checking in at the Warrior One Card Office in the Student Union Building.  This is the office that will make your student ID card.  If you are living in Clearwater Hall or Clark Hall, you will need to have the card activated to enter the building and your room/suite.

After you have your student ID card, you will need to check in at your assigned hall.  The Resident Assistants (RA's) will be there to meet you.  You will be given a Residence Life Handbook, the Terms & Conditions and other paperwork.  The RA will explain the Room Condition Form (RCF) to you and show you how to complete it.  You will then complete the form and return it to your RA.

After you are settled into your room, you should purchase a parking permit and register any bikes, or valuables with the Office of Security on campus.  The forms will be in the packet your RA gives you upon check-in.
