Resident Assistant

A Resident Assistant (RA) lives on campus in the residence halls and is a trained peer leader.  RA's develop community among the students who live in a hall, act as a resource for students, and ensure that the rules and regulations are enforced.  There is a Resident Assistant on every floor (one RA in Parrish House).

Part of the RA position is to facilitate social and educational programs for the students in the building or on campus.  Some of the programs the RA's have done this past year include: a self defense program, super bowl party, semi-formal dances, 3-on-3 basketball tournament, and much more!

Each spring the Residence Life Office advertises for the RA Application process and we interview and hire RA's for the next academic year.  For more information on becoming an RA, please contact our office.
