WHAT IS NOBLEHOUR?
NobleHour is an online system that tracks and manages
service-learning and volunteer programs.
After students enter their hours, site supervisors can
verify hours and faculty can generate reports to measure
involvement and impact. It also
streamlines communications, allows us to manage content and
helps build those important community connections.
Students can even generate a “service transcript” for
future employers or graduate school.

HELP LCSC SWITCH TO NOBLEHOUR BY USING IT FOR YOUR
As we work to increase the use of NobleHour by students
and community partners, we urge you to use the system for
your classes next semester. Please let me know if you would
like to participate in an introductory webinar. We will teach you how to
navigate the website, create groups and accounts, and much
more! I am also available to provide
administrative assistance to your course throughout the
semester by helping to track student hours, and fix any
technological difficulties. If you
register your service-learning courses on NobleHour you may
also qualify for a $250 service-learning grant.
WHY SHOULD YOU SWITCH TO NOBLEHOUR?
* Eliminate confusing systems and
piles of paper.
* Save time: Lessen your workload with streamlined
communication, organized hour tracking, easy-to-find
reports, bulk event imports and batch hour-approval
* Effortlessly track, submit and approve students'
service hours. Let NobleHour streamline and organize your
content and reports.
Hi my name is
Jim Matuska and I am the
AmeriCorps*VISTA serving as Service-Learning Coordinator at
LCSC. My main job is to help you! I know how impactful SL classes can be and
applaud you for incorporating into your classes! While I
know everyone is busy I would love to learn more about your
class and how I can assist you in any way. Whether that's to
help with finding student placements, tracking service
hours, making videos about SL projects, sending out positive
PR to the community about what your class is doing, or
helping to find a project for your class to participate in,
I am your guy! Please utilize me so that I can make your
jobs easier. Email me to let me know more about your course,
and how I can potentially be of service. Even if you already
have a concrete SL course I would love to learn more about
the positive impact your student's are making in our
community. Lastly please let me know at the end of the
semester the total number of students you had do service,
and how many hours they completed. This information is
INTEGRAL to our program! Once again, thank you for all you
are doing at LCSC and I look forward to hearing from you
about your SL course!
