In preparing for the ACT it is important to start early and to practice using your knowledge and skills. A prep course in the weeks before can help to improve student testing knowledge, comfort level and scores.
This course is taught by LCSC instructors who lead five separate two hour sessions in English, reading, writing, math and science. The course includes information on what to expect on test day, how to approach the test, practice test questions and discussion of results, learning to pace during the test and how to find additional study resources. Students who have completed the sessions report feeling more relaxed about what to anticipate when their test date rolls around.
Fall classes will begin week of September 17th and will be conducted in conjunction with the national testing dates for 2018-19. The course will repeat throughout the year and you may register for the entire course or for specific topic sessions.
Registration ongoing; contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 208-792-2211 for more information.
Cost is $15 per session and classes are held on the LCSC Campus.
