Speech and Debate Team

The Speech & Debate Team provides students the opportunity to: (1) Engage in public discourse about contemporary issues of interest, of prominence, or importance; (2) Enhance their education through honing research, critical thinking, organizational, argumentative, or public speaking skills; (3) Further their education through activities on campus (public debates, debate watches, workshops, etc.); (4) Engage in competition with other colleges and universities in the region or throughout the United States.
