The Lewis & Clark Symposium is a cooperative effort involving the
Lewis-Clark State College, the Nez Perce
Tribe, national scholars, teachers,
artisans, local experts and historical groups jointly sharing their
knowledge of history
and ethnology. The Symposium is designed to provide content in a pleasant,
relaxed and engaging fashion.

Idaho certified teachers may apply to receive a scholarship to attend the 2007 Symposium and a one-day teacher workshop. Application deadline is April 2, 2007*. The scholarship review committee will strive to distribute the stipends throughout the state and across the spectrum of grade levels taught. Lewis-Clark State College thanks the Idaho Governor’s Lewis and Clark Trail Committee for providing the 50 scholarships.
*Though the Scholarship Application deadline has passed,
we will still accept applications for
teachers to placed on a waiting list, should some
recipients be unable to accept their scholarships* |
