Who Qualifies for Tech Prep?

  • High School Students that are at least 16 years of age by the primary registration deadline of LCSC's term¬†
  • Students that have completed one-half of their high school graduation requirements
  • Students that are not yet 16 years of age must obtain high school instructor signature in order to participate

What do Tech Prep courses cost?

Tech Prep courses are offered to students at no cost. These are FREE college credits that can be earned while still in high school!

For the 2014-2015 school year this is a cost savings to students of $302 per credit.

How do you apply?

If Tech Prep is offered at your school, you should speak to your teacher about filling out a Tech Prep Admission & Registration Form, which is linked below. The completed form, including all signatures and required fields, must be submitted to the Tech Prep office to register you for Tech Prep courses.
