Local youngsters between the ages of 8-13 will have the opportunity to participate in the US Junior Olympic Skills Competition presented by Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes. The program is designed to encourage youth participation in sport while promoting sportsmanship.

Tennis, soccer and basketball will be portions of the Junior Olympic Skills Competition hosted by volunteers at the Clarkston High School on July 1st at 9am.  Pre-registration is encouraged. Forms are available at the LCSC Tennis Center (792-2309)
Participants may also register the day of the event at the High School tennis courts, basketball gym or soccer field.

Track and field events could also be offered. Volunteers are needed for those events. Please call 792-2309 if you are interested in volunteering.

Champions from this local qualifying event will advance to the Regional Competition scheduled for July 8th in Rathdrum, Idaho.
