To be approved as a proctor, an individual needs to hold one of the following positions listed below.
Personal friends, family members, co-workers and bosses are nEVER approved proctors, even if they meet any of the noted qualifications.

- Professional staff member of the adult or continuing education office
- Counseling Center
- Testing Center
|Private or Public Schools
- Principal or Vice Principal
|City or County
- Certified Librarian - each state has different requirements to meet in order for a person to recieve Certification or Licensure. Ensure the person you are requesting to proctor your exam meets their state's requirements for Certification before submitting the Proctor Request Form.
- Civil Service Examiner
- Judge of a Court of Law
- County Extension Agent
- United States Armed Forces Educational Services Officer
- Clergy member
It is the students responsibility to find a proctor that meets one of the above qualifications. One resource for finding some Testing Centers across the United States is through NCTA. Please note, testing sites found on this website are not the only places you can go, this is just one resource to find college Testing Centers.
