The Technical and Industrial Division at Lewis-Clark State College believes that your degree should teach students what is expected on the job. Students will gain knowledge, enhance skills, and learn from professional instructors who have personal experience in their fields.
The Technical and Industrial Division is under the Dean of Professional-Technical Programs and provides students with the technical knowledge, specialized skills, proper attitudes, and safe work habits to enter the labor market. Programs are structured to accommodate the goals of students seeking entry-level employment, career advancement, or a change. Students work directly with the equipment and theoretical concepts used in their trade. Our division monitors current industry needs to anticipate future changes and instructional requirements. Most instructors have achieved mastery level recognition in their trades and hold national certification.
The Dean of Professional-Technical (PT) Programs oversees the following programs: the Adult Learning Center, Business Technology and Service Division, Professional-Technical Education Center, Technical & Industrial Division, and Workforce Training.Learn More
