The Technical & Industrial Division at Lewis-Clark State College believes a degree should teach skills that are expected on the job. In the T&I Division, students will gain knowledge, enhance skills, and learn from professionally trained instructors who have personal experience in their fields. Most instructors have achieved mastery level recognition in their trades and hold national certification. All of the instructors in the T&I Divisionhave worked directly in the industries they are skilled in and remain current with the latest technologies and advancements. Every program has an advisory committee made up of experts in their fields. 

The Technical and Industrial Division falls under the Dean of Professional-Technical Programs. They believe in providing students with the technical knowledge, specialized skills, proper attitudes, and safe work habits to enter the labor market. Programs are structured to accommodate the goals of students seeking entry-level employment, career advancement, or simply a change. Students work directly with the equipment and theoretical concepts used in the industry. Our division monitors current industry needs to anticipate future changes and instructional requirements.
