Information Systems Analysis

Information Systems Analysis program prepares students for a wide range of employment opportunities in the Internet support and computer hardware/software fields. Training for positions involving network security, wireless communication, computer virtualization, Voice-Over-IP, operating systems, and PC maintenance are major focuses of the program.

Skills mastered after completion of the program include: computer operating systems; analysis of systems hardware and software; PC maintenance including virus detection and eradication; business application software with optional emphasis on SQL and vSphere; network design, implementation, and troubleshooting; network security; wireless LANs.

The courses offered support successful completion of industry standardized certifications in CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Windows Client, Microsoft Windows Server, and CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

Entrance requirements for students seeking enrollment in the Information Systems Analysis program include:

  • Enrollment priority is on a first-come first-serve basis as determined by the student's faculty advising date.
