Making the Grade
The fun times are still going and even though
there is no snow, it is still that time of year...FINALS! The
studying and homework have been getting worse but that just means
that we are one step closer to Christmas break!
It has been a few weeks since I have seen my family so I am
excited to go back. Thanksgiving was a good time. It was only
for a week, but the break was needed. Getting back into the
swing of things was a little weird at first and took a little
getting used to. It was nice to go home; however, and see my
family since it had been since the end of August.
Tennis is still in the off season so that means I need to play
when I go home so I’m not rusty. Our coach has warned us that we
need to keep playing. During finals week, we still have workouts
everyday but not as long as regular practices so we can spend
more time on studying for our finals. When we return from break,
it’s all business; however, while I'm home, I plan on
snowboarding a lot more, since in high school I never could
because of basketball season. So I’m really excited to go home
and do that and spend time with my sister!
Studying for my classes each day has helped me to understand the
material a lot better and leaves more time to hang out still as
well. So everyone, wish me luck on my finals and have as good as
a winter break as I’m expecting to have. |
