Spring Break

Spring break was a lot of fun this year. It was better than the spring breaks I had in high school. Our tennis team was able to travel down to Tennessee and Kentucky and play tennis against some pretty good schools down there.

We first flew into Nashville Tennessee and then drove to Kentucky to stay at a hotel there. We woke up the following morning and drove another couple hours to Williamsburg Kentucky to play University of Cumberland. That match went really well as we won pretty handedly. We traveled after that match to Barbourville Kentucky and played Union College and then Lindsey Wilson College. We won against Union College but lost against Lindsey Wilson College.

It was a lot of fun to travel around Kentucky and get a little bit of site seeing down there. The last night we were there we spent the night in Nashville and spent the night out on the town. We had a lot of fun, especially with the men’s team there. Nashville was a really cool place to get to see. I probably would never have gotten the chance to see Nashville if it weren’t for tennis. Hopefully next year we will be able to travel and see some more places.

Not being able to go home for spring break was kind of a downer considering all of my friends were home together. They called me a bunch of times and made me wish that I was home with them. We will make up for it this summer. But spring break was a lot of fun and hopefully next year it will be just as fun!
