Attending Lewis-Clark State College has been such a great
experience for me this semester. If it hadn’t been for the close
interaction with my professors, this semester wouldn’t be so
rewarding. Also when doing group projects, the contact with other
students is enjoyable and sometimes amusing!
Once I had an assignment due in an hour and I needed to get it
done. However, I wasn’t able to work because of all the people
talking to me. I didn’t want to say, “Leave me alone. I’m
working.” So I nonchalantly got up and went into Brian Stephens,
my advisor’s, office and told him my problem. He gave me a quick
smile and told me to work in his office. So I did. I sat down in
one of his cushioned chairs and was never bothered by anyone.
Once I was finished, I thanked Brian and headed quickly to class.
Thanks to professors like Brian, students feel like their
teachers want to help them succeed in life. I have found that my
professors encourage success in every aspect in my life. Now
that you have heard my story, wouldn’t you want to be treated
like an individual? Well if anyone decides to attend Lewis-Clark
State College, I guarantee that your professor will care for you
and your peers.
