LCSC Bound
Heading to school was so exciting for me. I spent my entire senior year
(okay, maybe my whole high school career) waiting to be “free” and on my own,
then the time came. I didn’t get to experience the whole packing up and moving
to Lewiston thing; however, I did move from my mother’s house into my own house.
That was a new experience for me. I have to clean the house, do dishes, laundry,
and you can’t forget about paying the bills. I like it though. Thanks to Chris,
he helps out around the house a lot.
Warrior Orientation kicked off the Friday before school started. I highly
recommend going because you learn so much. I learned about my classes and what
to expect. I was really stressed before Warrior Orientation and then afterwards
it felt like all the weight had been lifted off my shoulders. There were real
student there to ask questions about anything, and I mean anything. I think that
was the best part, to find that my upperclassmen wanted to make the incoming
students feel welcome, and I did.
Now that I’ve been here a couple of weeks, I’ve met so many people. I have an
hour between some classes and instead of leaving campus, I hang around and chit
chat with all of the new friends that I’ve made. It's so comfortable here, I love
it! |
