Link to an Access Table

Get Ready
Identify the name of the database containing the object to which you want to link.
Determine where, on your computer, the database is stored.
Example: C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP

Begin
Display the File menu and then point to the words Get External Data. Click the words Link Tables.
Use the directory buttons or just type the location where the database is stored.
Double-click the name of the database. In a few moments, the Link Tables dialog box will appear.
Click the name of each table to which you want to link.
Click the OK button.
