Get Ready
Decide into which toolbar you want to add a button
Example: Formatting toolbar
Determine the name of the macro you want to add to a toolbar.

Begin
Display the Tools menu.
Select the Customize command. In a few moments, the Customize dialog box will display. If necessary, click the Commands tab.
Scroll down and then click Macros in the Category list.
Drag to the toolbar of your choice.
Click the button.
Click Assign Macro… on the quick menu.
Double-click the name of the macro you want to add to the toolbar.
If you wish to perform further modifications, such as changing the picture on the button or its style, use the Modify Selection button to do so. When you’re finished making modifications:
Click the button.
