Display the workbook you want to protect.

Begin
Display the Tools menu and then point to the Protection command. Click the Protect Workbook… command.
If you want to protect the Workbook’s windows (e.g., from being moved or hidden), click the Windows checkbox.
If you want, enter a password.
Click the button.
If you entered a password, enter it again and click the button.
